"A phrase of the poet John Keats, has really
inspired me: |
|
'A thing of beauty is a joy forever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness
.'Endymion, Book I |
|
"So it's been important to me to create beautiful
things, even if they are from plastics or junk materials which
other people see as temporary and would throw away. I've also
been inspired by the Bauhaus, the influential early twentieth
century art and architecture school". |

The style of theatre which Peter helped develop
is now generally termed 'object theatre' and he is recognised
as a pioneer of the form. As a result, he's been invited to
major festivals and theatres throughout the world, often with
the support of the Goethe Institute and has been awarded many
prizes. |
|
As well as theatre spaces, Peter has performed
in railway stations, parks, castle and museum courtyards, churches,
schools and village halls. His shows and sets are technically
simple, so are easy to tour. |
|
Peter has created 15 >
productions and also directed or designed shows for several
other theatre companies. |
As well as his theatre work, Peter is a >
sculptor. |
|
Peter runs masterclasses for practitioners and
